Southeast Asia, specifically Indonesia, is where my husband and our older son lived from 1987 to 1989. More than 30 years later, we were given an amazing opportunity to return. Our University of Michigan alumni tour began in ancient Angkor Wat, then moved to Singapore where old and new live next door to each other in fascinating ways. From there we visited Bali, the village of Semarang, the jungle of Borneo and the Island of Komodo!
